Millenial Hike & Project Work Day

The group at the top of the hike!

After making breakfast in our cabins, we for a hike on the millennium trail. This hike consisted of 45 minutes of climbing up a steep incline followed by 30 minutes of slight uphill climbing. We arrived at a beautiful clearing overlooking the nearby farms and agriculture. After we took in the amazing view, we went down a long winding trail back to the cabins. After returning, we had a hearty lunch and took some time to rest. After we were all rested, we began working on our individual projects. Some of us are whittling small boats out of gathered branches, others collecting leaves to draw and create artwork, and some experimenting with new photography techniques. Additionally one of us ran the CSW Instagram, providing updates and answering community questions. We reconvened as a group for dinner then headed back to our cabins to hang out and sleep.
