Students all worked on their projects in the morning. There are projects in forests, fields, and by mangroves, In the afternoon students went on a hike to see a cave with many bats. The island’s foundation is old coral reefs, so the there are many small caves. You should see a post later on the caves. Right now (5 pm) we’re at a an open air restaurant on the beach, about a 15 minute boat ride from the field station’s doc. That’s why we’re ablr to post some images. There are new photos in the photos tab. Communication is still pretty bad. Nights are the times when we can do some communication. I have to go now…
