Hannah _ Mapping the trail to 3 cascades and drawing vegetation along the trail
Isaac & Lucas – Underwater video of pools n streams
Jalen – Interviewing Señora Ramira as to her life path and religious beliefs
Jayson – Photography of flowing water and of mosses
Josh and Max – Flower shapes, color and structure as they relate to pollination
Lila – Writing and journaling about humans’ connection to nature
Rachel – Geography of Cerro Punta and its impact on humans, & agriculture
Sabrina – Animals active at night (moths, bats, cacomistles) & natural sounds
Tommy – Video of life in, on & around a tree

We’re on the bus on our way to the port town of Almirante. Rising from the Pacific side, we stopped, briefly, at the continental divide and saw the stunted forest as a result of generally high winds. We descended down the Atlantic side and we are now eating in lowland town of Rambala. From here it’s about an hour and fifteen-minute ride to Almirante. Once in there, we’ll get on boats that will take us directly to The ITEC Field Station. We should get to the field station at 4:30 or so.
